The American photographer and filmmaker Alex Prager stages the Icons of Style key visual for Autumn/Winter 2012 in an imaginative and surreal film featuring Lara Stone and the Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster.

The passion for style and good design connects the two. For this reason Mercedes-Benz has supported the international fashion world for many years. First and foremost as title sponsor of the most important fashion events in the world: the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, Berlin and Beijing as well as sponsor of the fashion weeks in Paris, London and Milan.

This new filmic interpretation of the American fairytale underscores the message of the key visual, in which a spotlight is on three style icons – Lara Stone, the Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster and Calvin Klein Collection.The fashion film is also all about style icons, with the Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster taking centre stage in this world as a design classic.

The new, beat-inspired collection is designed to get you off your feet and dancing to the music. Electro coloured inspired combinations and detailing that include the iconic oversized mouse head, are just some of the features that make this collection all about personality, music and Summer fun.

Championing Deadmau5’ infectious party attitude are the Street Jump mid and lo and the Dallas Mens styles. The Street Jump comes complete with a club inspired hologram on the tongue, guaranteed to get the party started. The Dallas stands out in a crowd with bright, patent material details and a LED light inspired heel overlay.

Female club kids won’t miss out on the sneaker action as Deadmau5 and PUMA have also designed three exclusive styles for women: Street Jump Mid, Street Jump Low and Dallas. Adding some glitz to the collection these high top styles take inspiration from a disco ball incorporating the infamous oversized mouse head complete with diamond detailing. The sneakers also feature patent leather to accentuate the confident personality of the collection.

Electronic music fans can also complete their look with an exclusive Deadmau5 and PUMA hooded track top, hoodie and trousers. The iconic Deadmau5 head can be found printed on all apparel complete with UV light to keep the wearer partying and shining into the early hours.
